We have a very active Walkers are Welcome & Walking for Health group in our town. We meet every Wednesday at St John`s Methodist Church, two groups a slower shorter walk and a longer (about 4 miles) take place each week, we then return to the Church and many of us sit down have Tea Coffee & Toast and a natter.
In July we join in with the rest of the Town in what is known as Giant Community Day, we promote our group, the Town & walking in the East Riding Yorkshire.
The town Council support is in many ways as does a large super market on the edge of town, many of the small shops and cafes display our walkers logo in their windows.
