Evesham’s attractive riverside parks are the venue for a range of summer festivals, including angling, Morris Dancing and the River Festival. Evesham is also the site of one of the most significant battles in British history at which Simon de Montfort, who called the first English Parliament, was killed in 1265. The battle is re-enacted every August.

The last week of June sees walkers from all over the country enjoying the Five Day Walking Festival which shows why the Vale of Evesham is such a wonderful place to visit.
