With only one notable ghost of the town, Kirkby Stephen is celebrating Halloween week with a Horrible Histories walk. What will they find to tell? A knight of old hung, drawn and quartered; children dragged out of bed to worship over a tomb, the killing of the last boar; a family burnt to death. Fortunately, the walk will be in daylight but do bring garlic just in case.
