Each year Chepstow celebrates that it is an accredited Walkers are Welcome town by organising a walking festival has become firmly established on the ‘walkers calendar’ – 2023 will be our 11th year! There will be 35 guided walks led by local walk leaders who either live or work in the Lower Wye Valley and beyond that devise walks showcasing the beauty and heritage the area has to offer. After last years collaboration with the South Wales Long Distance Association who hosted their Offa’s Twisted Wye Kanter from Chepstow proved so successful, we will be repeating the same in 2023. This event of 4 self guided walks where clues need to be gathered will take place on Sunday 16th April. There really is a walk for most.
