Bingley Walkers are Welcome Theatre Anniversary Walk
Bingley Arts Centre, Main Street, Bingley, West Yorkshire, BD16 2LZ
Enjoy a short one and a half miles walk along with members of Bingley Little Theatre who will be
dressed in costume. Following the walk we will return to the theatre for light refreshments, a talk and
a tour of the building.
This event coincides with the 75th anniversary of Bingley Little Theatre.
Organised by Bingley Walkers are Welcome, this event will be in two parts:
First, local thespians will walk with us on a short one and a half miles route in costume through the town’s Myrtle Park and
along the picturesque River Aire where wildlife is often spotted including kingfishers.
Then, we will return through the centre of Bingley to the Bingley Arts Centre, home to Bingley Little Theatre. Light refreshments
will be served in the theatre’s lounge upon return. There will then follow a short talk on the history of the theatre and a tour.
