Forres has been awarded the status of a ‘Walkers are Welcome’ town. Forres is in the North East of Scotland, close to the Moray Firth.

A weekend of walking events is being planned for next spring to celebrate the award.  There will be something for everyone and it will be free to take part in thanks to a contribution towards costs of the events from the Forres Area Forum.’
