From Whitchurch Hampshire to Wivey
There’s no better way to enjoy the autumn sunshine than taking a short break in a Walkers are Welcome town and two members from Whitchurch (Hampshire) WAW committee have done just that, having recently returned from a most enjoyable short break exploring what Wiveliscombe has to offer walkers.
Wivey is surrounded by beautiful green rolling hills, is just a short drive to the coast and close to the eastern edge of Exmoor National Park, which can be reached by bus from Wiveliscombe square. A special thank you to Ann Scotter and her fellow walkers for inviting us to join them on a lovely sunny autumn walk up on to the Wivey Way to admire the stunning views across the town. It was a great opportunity to chat informally about how things were going with our two groups and pick up on a few good ideas for the future.
