Meltham Walkers are Welcome are launching an exciting new venture for Meltham. A Blue Plaque Trail is being created to highlight the many wonderful buildings and Churches that were erected in Meltham mainly by two philanthropic families the Brooks and the Hirsts.

The launch of Meltham’s Blue Plaque trail will be held on Sunday 18th September with two free guided walks taking place starting at 10am and 10.30am from the Carlile Street Car Park HD9 4AE with refreshments available afterwards in the Carlile building. The walks are free for anyone to attend and will be about 3 miles in total.
