Longborough, a quaint village situated in the Cotswolds is offering and all inclusive weekend of walking with accommodation and meals bundled into the price. With no B&Bs in the village, they have overcome the problem by offering accommodation in their homes. A novel idea and the first instance WAW is aware of and we wish them every success.

Titled ‘Exclusive Residential Cotswold Walking Weekend’ September 9 – 11 the walks are led by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens.  Accommodation is in village homes with meals at the local Coach and Horses Pub.

Friday night – arrival after 4.00pm and dinner at 7.30 pm.  Saturday – breakfast and at 9.45pm leave for circular 6 hour walk via Blockley – 11 miles.   Packed lunch included.  Dinner – 7.30 pm.  Sunday – breakfast and at 10.00 am leave for a leisurely walk to Moreton-in- Marsh.
